Brain Damage Case

Our client in this defective labeling case was an elderly person who suffered permanent brain damage from accidental inhalation of toxic fumes from use of a paint stripper. Out client used the product in an area without sufficient ventilation and lost consciousness, suffering brain injury from lack of oxygen before he was found. The product warning label was printed in letters so small that it could only be read with a magnifying glass. This deficiency allowed us to bring suit for failure to provide proper warning. A settlement of $750,000 was reached.
